Frequently Asked Questions
Who can apply to Sentur?
Any independent builder, developer, or creator at least 18 years of age who has created a functional prototype.
Does applying cost money?
No. Applying to Sentur is 100% free with zero evaluation fees.
Do applicants need a finished product?
No, but you need a working interactive prototype, not just an idea or slide deck.
What counts as a working prototype?
A web app or tool that reviewers can test directly in a browser demonstrating the primary value flow.
How selective is the program?
Admissions are selective based on our 7-factor rubric: problem severity, demand, market, monetization, prototype polish, founder velocity, and coachability.
What happens after acceptance?
Founder and incubator sign a written agreement establishing IP ownership and revenue-sharing terms before tool access begins.
What does Sentur provide?
Funded access to tools (Cursor, Cloudflare Workers, AI API credits), weekly 1-on-1 coaching, and launch support.
How does revenue sharing work?
A mutually agreed percentage of net collected revenue over a defined duration (e.g. 15% for 24 months). If no revenue is generated, nothing is owed.
Who owns the product and its source code?
The founder retains full ownership of their intellectual property and code. Sentur does not claim automatic equity or code ownership.
What happens if a product does not succeed?
The founder owes nothing for approved tool or hosting expenses. Revenue sharing applies strictly to collected revenue.
Is acceptance a guarantee of funding?
Acceptance provides funded tool budgets and coaching, not guaranteed venture cash investments.
Can applicants continue building independently?
Yes. You retain full freedom over your software.
How are marketing and hosting costs handled?
Approved hosting and launch expenses are directly funded by Sentur during the 3-month incubation sprint.
